Privacy Policy

Last Updated: May 1, 2026

Welcome to AIGuide101 (“we,” “us,” or “our”). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have.

By using aiguide101.com, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Who We Are

AIGuide101 is an independent publication based in the United States that provides educational content, reviews, and news about artificial intelligence tools and how to use them. The site is owned and operated by the AIGuide101 editorial team.

For privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@aiguide101.com.

2. Information We Collect

We collect two categories of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact form submissions — your name, email, and message content
  • Newsletter subscriptions — your email address (handled via Jetpack Subscriptions / WordPress.com)
  • Comments — your name, email, website (optional), comment content, and your IP address (used for spam prevention)

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Technical data — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution, language preference
  • Usage data — pages viewed, time on site, referring URL, exit pages, click behavior
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5 below

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the website
  • Respond to inquiries submitted through our contact form
  • Send newsletter emails (only if you’ve subscribed — you can unsubscribe at any time)
  • Moderate comments and prevent spam
  • Analyze traffic and reader behavior so we can publish better content
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Detect, prevent, and address technical issues, fraud, or abuse

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

4. Third-Party Services We Use

We use the following third-party services to operate AIGuide101. Each has its own privacy practices:

  • Jetpack & WordPress.com (Automattic Inc.) — site hosting, security, analytics, and email subscriptions. Privacy Policy
  • Akismet (Automattic Inc.) — comment spam filtering; processes commenter IP addresses and email addresses. Privacy Policy
  • Gravatar (Automattic Inc.) — automatically displays profile images for commenters based on their email address (hashed). Privacy Policy
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC) — anonymized traffic analytics. Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare (where applicable) — site performance and security. Privacy Policy

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to make the site work properly and to understand how readers use it.

  • Essential cookies — required for the site to function (e.g., comment login, security)
  • Comment cookies — if you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website for one year so you don’t have to re-enter them
  • Analytics cookies — used by Google Analytics and Jetpack Stats to count visits, measure popular pages, and track general behavior in aggregate

You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site may not work as expected.

Do Not Track (DNT): Our site does not currently respond to DNT browser signals because there is no industry standard for handling them. We do, however, honor opt-out requests submitted directly to us.

6. Affiliate Links and Sponsored Content

AIGuide101 contains affiliate links. When you click an affiliate link and complete a purchase, we may earn a small commission — at no extra cost to you. Affiliate networks may use cookies to track these clicks. For full details, see our Disclosure page.

7. AI-Generated Content Notice

Some content on AIGuide101 is created with the assistance of AI tools (including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini), and is then reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication. We make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy, but AI-assisted content can occasionally contain errors, outdated information, or “hallucinated” facts. Always verify time-sensitive information (such as pricing or features) directly with the official source. Spotted an error? Email hello@aiguide101.com and we’ll fix it within 48 business hours.
